I was on the receiving end of a proposal dreamed up by my partner and Lady and it was beyond anything I could have imagined. I have been a major Anne Rice fan since childhood and her aesthetic is as familiar and precious to me as my own hand. “I truly couldn’t have pulled off my surprise proposal without Lady’s help! My fiancée and I took a trip to New Orleans and it was our first time in the city. I knew I wanted to propose on the trip so we could always look back on New Orleans as the city we got engaged in, but I didn’t know what was possible. During my initial conversations with Lady, she pitched doing the proposal at the Audubon Aquarium as my fiancée loves marine life. From there, Lady made visits to the aquarium to scout out locations for the proposal and photos afterwards, worked hard with the team there to negotiate a fair price to reserve the aquarium, and created an amazing keepsake that was part of the proposal’s decor! The day of the proposal, all I had to do was show up. Lady and her team created the most spectacular setup I’ve ever seen and everything was executed flawlessly! My fiancée was so shocked and it created a day we would never forget.
The photos we received were truly stunning! Lady captured wonderful candid and staged photos. Lighting an aquarium can be really challenging, but due to her team’s effort, every photo was well lit and perfectly taken. The photos were wonderfully edited, as every single one of them looked like a masterpiece. Our friends and family were amazed by each photo they saw.
Lady is one of the most talented professionals I have ever worked with. She is very communicative throughout the entire process. She cares about every single proposal she is working on. “I worked with Lady on not just proposal photos, but she helped me plan an amazing surprise experience that neither my fiancee or I will ever forget!
My fiancee is a former New Orleans resident and we regularly visit the area as it is one of our favorite places on Earth, so naturally NOLA was the place where I was going to propose. SInce I live in FL and I wanted to give my then-GF the experience she deserved I looked for assistance and I could not have asked for a better partner than Lady.
I met with Lady and she asked me about my fiancée on what her likes are and what I thought would make up the perfect proposal for her and then we discussed some of the ideas on where I may want to propose and she, as a local, gave me her feedback on each spot and offered up a few of her favorites as well. We settled on the perfect spot and then went right into action on developing the perfect plan!After a brainstorming session between the two of us we put together a plan on where, when and how. A few days later, lady provided a detailed plan recapping everything we discussed which even included pictures of the site, a map of where to walk and even helpful hints on how to hide the ring and what to wear and stand for the best pictures possible.
Even with some unforeseen issues (weather and a pop-up wedding on the same site we chose) Lady was there to think on her feet and was able to slightly adjust our original plan to keep everything perfect. Everything went off flawlessly and my fiancée was completely surprised and totally loved it! A few days later we received the engagement photos and my fiancée and I have been looking at them each day ever since!!
Working with Lady on one of the most important projects in my life was simply amazing. She took many occasions to speak with me to ensure everything was going to be perfect; she took the time to speak with me about my fiancée and about me to get a feel for us as people and as a couple to make sure she was giving us a once in a lifetime experience that we'll cherish forever. “We had an amazing experience with Lady. She beautifully captured our proposal and did an hour-or-so engagement session immediately after the proposal. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to capture a proposal or for an engagement session. Lady helped my beau with planning the proposal and finding the perfect location to pop the question in City Park. When I got out of the car at City Park (after my now-fiance led me on a scavenger hunt around the city *tear*), Lady helped my fiance hide while I followed a trail of roses to the spot where he ultimately proposed. She was so casual and cool and inconspicuous that I never noticed her fake-taking pictures of the beautiful scenery in the park as I walked right by her. She picked the perfect spot for the proposal. The lighting was amazing! In addition, she beautifully captured the proposal and we got to share the photos with our families, who said that they felt like they were there for the whole thing. The photo session with her afterwards was an absolute blast. She and her hilarious assistant kept us laughing, which made the shoot really natural, rather than forced and posed. The result was absolutely beautiful photography that had a very authentic and candid feel, rather than something overly pinterest-y. Even though we were not all dressed up for the proposal, the photography was so beautiful and authentic that we decided to use Lady's pictures as our engagement photos and for Save-the-Dates! In addition, we had our edited high resolution images within days of the proposal. The turn-around time was lightning fast, which was awesome. Finally (and this may be the best part), Lady wrote a beautiful blog post about the proposal and shared it on social media so that our family and friends could see the proposal. It made us feel super special. If you're on the fence, go Lady. You won't regret it!”

“This was my first time doing anything like this and she made my job so easy!!!! I was taking my Girlfriend to New Orleans in late May to propose. The day before we fly to New Orleans I completely forgot to figure out how to get someone to take at least one picture of the moment. I went everywhere on google and I came across Lady. Portrait and Wedding. I sent my information in and was hoping for the best. My thoughts were “no one will take this because its literally the last second, short notice, and knew nothing about New Orleans”. Within an hour Lady emails me and she got to work. Zoomed called later that day, she had a couple of ideas to help with my Vision and I used every idea she had. The day came and the wind was just howling, it was suppose to rain, and was just a bad start to the day but she texted me with back up plans and was very quick to get back to me if I had a question or a concern about the weather. But thankfully the weather cleared and it ended up being one of the best moments of my life, I was and still am more than thrilled I found you! That moment will be with my now fiancé and I forever, Thank you Lady for everything!!! By the way I got way more than just one picture. I got so many different views, looks, and emotions through my proposal it was shocking how Lady did that. It was incredible!!!!

“I contacted Lady about doing a surprise engagement photoshoot after having contacted multiple other photographers. The other photographers I had talked to were either unwilling to do any extra planning to help me catch my fiance by surprise, or didn't have any experience with surprise proposals and were expecting both parties to be aware of the photoshoot. Lady however, was more than willing to help me plan out the surprise proposal. She really went the extra mile to make sure that everything was planned out, and that I was comfortable with the plan beforehand. I was a little hesitant at first to pay the extra money for the planning, as I already had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Lady made it well worth the extra cost. She added a lot of great ideas to my original plan, which was a surprise picnic in city park where I was recreating one of our first picnic dates. As part of the planning we had an hour zoom call beforehand to discuss the plan, she met me at a grocery store to pick up the supplies to setup the picnic, she setup the picnic so it was there waiting when we walked up, and she had found someone to watch the picnic while we went to other parts of the park for the rest of the photoshoot. Lady is really great at thinking of the little details you may miss, and was really a great added value to have her helping plan my proposal out. She had everything figured out and taken care of. She was also very responsive and professional throughout all of her interactions. The photos all came out amazingly. She really knows how to position and pose you so that you end up with really remarkable photos. Another thing that I liked about Lady was that all of the photos taken during the photoshoot were included in the price and edited. Other photographers I had looked into only edited some of the photos, or made you pay extra for all of the photos. I feel like my money was very well spent with choosing Lady. Even if you weren't doing a surprise proposal I would recommend her, but that does really seem to be her niche.”
