Jeremy and Michelle: New Orleans Engagement Photography

Jeremy and Michelle celebrate their engagement with a portrait session in the French Quarter and City Park
Most couples and engagement sessions don’t have a particular theme. Unless the theme is love then okay, yeah, they all have a theme. But Michelle and Jeremy wanted a lot of color in their images. Being of South Asian descent, Michelle wanted to wear traditional clothing for one half of their engagement session and she planned on it being very colorful. I was really excited when she described what she was going to wear! I love juxtaposing vibrant clothing against classic New Orleans architecture. Plus, the lower French Quarter is teeming with color palettes to match any bold wardrobe choice. They also wanted a wardrobe change for when we headed to City Park after the French Quarter. I LOVED that idea. The city was still in the middle of Covid lockdown and they had to change in the car. I honestly do not know how Jeremy managed to look so slick in a suit he changed into in the backseat of their car! But damn- this was one well-dressed couple (Jeremy, if you are reading this, can you please give me the number to your tailor? Kthxbye).
I do not know why it has taken me a full year to get this wonderful image set up on the blog. Perhaps because we were still in the aforementioned Covid lockdown when I shot them and I wasn’t dedicating a lot of energy to blogging at the time. At any rate, I’m pleased to put this vibrant New Orleans Engagement Photography set here now! There are some absolute gems in this French Quarter and City Park portrait session. Enjoy!
